Production Associate

Production Associate, responsible for safely performing essential duties associated with the job while maintaining a high-level quality and efficiency.

• Maintains a high level of professionalism
• Responsible for retrieving, inspecting, and packaging product
• Monitors quality of product per quality standards
• Responsible for maintaining established productivity levels
• Responsible for communicating issues regarding quality, scrap rate, safety, or any other concerns to supervisor or manager
• Participates actively in continuous improvement
• Responsible for communicating to operators at shift change regarding the operation, quality, and job status
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Performs other tasks as directed by lead or supervisor

• Ability to pass a screening test for near vision, color vision, and depth perception (with or without corrected vision)
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and quality plans
• manual dexterity and coordination

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to perform basic applications of percentages and averages

• Ability to recognize non-compliance to work standards and contact appropriate supervision or management staff

• Extended hours standing and repetitive tasks
• Standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and regularly lifting to 35 pounds.
• Manufacturing environment with associated noises, smells, and temperatures.
