The purpose of this position is to efficiently operate the wastewater treatment plant to achieve compliance with all permits. Operations of related lift stations and storm water system are also included. Schedule can vary due to business need but is generally:
Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm.

• Daily routine tasks along with additional assigned tasks that will require the individual to manage time and responsibility efficiently.
• Ensure proper operation of lift station and equipment.
• Perform simple laboratory duties daily.
• Performs housekeeping and ground keeping duties as assigned.
• Take measurement throughout the water system.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and PIV to drive and operate company vehicles and equipment.

High School or equivalent plus required state license.

• Strong reading, writing and math skills.
• Must have 3 years of wastewater operations experience.

Level 3 Wastewater license in Delaware or other state's equivalent.

May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. When in a plant environment:
Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle products from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, and processing facilities.

Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. May need to climb ladders. May require standing for several hours at a time.
