Responsibilities

Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.

Isolate systems or components that may be causing issues.

Drive vehicles for testing and inspect and refill fluid levels as needed.

Ensure proper tire inflation, and clean and lubricate fittings as necessary.

Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters, and communicate oil levels to teammates.

Maintain accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Repair or replace worn parts proactively.

Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of automobiles and quick diagnostic skills.

Effective analytical and communication skills, with a desire to improve.

Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.

Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

High School Diploma or GED (required).

ASE Certification or Technical degree (preferred).

At least one year of experience in a service department.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
