Digital Engineer / Paint – Toyota North America – Georgetown, KY

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is hiring for a Paint Digital Engineer for a temporary assignment. This is a 12‑month contract position. Pay range: $30.00/hr ‑ $40.00/hr benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

• Creating offline robot programs for download in a robotic production process.
• Coordinate with Regional Paint Engineer study, conduct the trial, evaluate based on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Support Paint Digital Engineering group with reach studies and cycle time analysis for sealer, UBC, dampening coat, primer, base, clear and interior robot processes.
• Lead all related meetings, create documentation and support the plants.
• Travel to US, Mexico and Canada pending COVID restrictions to support projects, reporting to the Digital Engineering Manager.
• Work with minimal direction; previous experience is required.

• 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications.
• Experience with Digital Engineering.
• Additional related certifications.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Creative problem solver who thrives with challenges.
• Able to analyze problems and strategize better solutions.
• Flexible and able to multitask on several aspects of a project.
• Take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Authorization:
Green Card, US Citizen

Shift timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
