*** Who we’re looking for
** Toyota’s Production Engineering Battery Manufacturing Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineering Manager for our Battery Planning group.

Reporting to the Engineering Senior Manager at the PEMC, Battery Planning manager represents Battery PE to external groups, such as PPM, A&F, R&D, Legal One, etc.  to provide a consistent resource for coordination related to Battery Projects.
** What you’ll be doing
*** Represent Battery PE as the outward facing point of contact for working groups
* Develop and update project master schedules in coordination with TMNA PPM
* Lead coordination of monthly overall project budget review meetings
* Coordinate consensus building among each Battery PE Shop
* Leading department Cap Ex and OpEx planning
* Preparing and Presenting Monthly Executive Budget Updates
* Lead cross-functional groups to resolve various issues during the project life cycle
* Coordinate quarterly regular reflection meetings between Planning & Implementation
* Coordinate department All-Hands meetings
** What you bring
*** Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or similar technical field (Y/N)
* Experience in manufacturing for battery, assembly, machining, paint, body weld or stamping.
* Experience creating and implementing processes in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience in detail schedule creation and utilization on capital projects.
* Budget experience for manufacturing projects.
* Auto Cad experience, including the ability to read, interpret and modify 2D drawings.
* Ability for business travel, both domestic and international, short and long term. Short term travel to PEMC, TBMNC, Japan, Local Vendors, etc. could be up to 75% while learning role. Settling up to 40% Travel.
* Ability to work weekend and shutdown work (such as July and December holidays) as needed.
** Added bonus if you have
*** Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering / Technology.
* Prior experience as a People Leader in TMNA or at an NAMC.
* Toyota Production Engineering Co-Op experience.
* Co-Op / Internship experience in an engineering role.
* Project management experience dealing with capital investments greater than $100K.
* Toyota Business Practice experience.
* PLC experience, including the ability to investigate and troubleshoot.
* Experience and/or exposure to battery manufacturing process.
