A Senior Mechanical Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization near Lexington, KY. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the innovative design and planning of facility infrastructure for high‑tech manufacturing, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency. This role bridges early‑stage engineering analysis with business needs to support mission‑critical facility goals.
Location:
Georgetown, Kentucky

• Salary: $65–$80 per hour

Work Hours:
8 am–4 pm
•
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering).
- Provide expert support for early‑stage project planning and pre‑construction analysis of industrial building systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies on technical designs and implementation procedures, evaluating their impact on costs and schedules.
- Research emerging industry trends to enhance building designs and installation methods for safety and quality.
- Develop comprehensive business cases, project justifications, and high‑level presentations for executive management.
- Offer technical guidance throughout the design and construction phases while collaborating with diverse internal departments.
- Apply problem‑solving skills and kaizen principles to optimize infrastructure and building management systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial design, construction, or operations with focus on HVAC, process piping, and compressed air systems.
- Proficiency in project reporting and presentation skills to communicate technical justifications to management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
