Financial Controller

Artemis Solutions has partnered with a leading manufacturer that is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the organization’s accounting operations and financial reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls while partnering closely with executive leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical accounting foundation, leadership experience, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

• Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and financial close
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Establish, document, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
• Analyze financial results and provide insights to executive leadership
• Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and system enhancements
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Prior experience in a Controller or senior accounting role preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Proficiency with accounting systems and ERP platforms
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required

• Competitive Salary $90,000-$100,000yr (based on experience)
