How You’ll Contribute- Evaluates and treats patients per medically prescribed physical therapy plans.
- Designs and implements individualized programs to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent disability; provides patient/family education on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation.
- Supervises physical therapist assistants, students, and aides in delivering care.
- Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition and functional status.
- Develops and updates an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the patient, based on goals and capabilities.
- Plans, prepares, and carries out evidence‑based interventions to maintain, improve, or restore function; alleviate pain; and prevent dysfunction.
- Delivers therapy using standard PT techniques and modalities appropriate to patient age and condition (e.g., moist heat/cold, ultrasound, UV/IR lamps, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy).
- Administers physical agents and operates PT equipment safely; performs necessary set‑up and checks.
- Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices; recommends modifications as needed.
- Identifies/document goals, anticipated progress, and timelines; plans for reevaluation and discharge.
- Directs and supervises PTAs, students, and support personnel; delegates tasks appropriately and ensures clear communication.
- Accurately documents assessments, interventions, patient response, education, and progress toward goals.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education; performs other duties as assigned.

- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required (Physical Therapy). - License:
Current Physical Therapy license in state of practice. - Certifications:
BCLS required.
