Role

Summary:

Join a dynamic team driving OT network reliability, security, and modernization across plant and enterprise environments. In this onsite role, you'll serve as a key technical resource and liaison between IT, plant engineering, and operations to help ensure network solutions are delivered securely and with zero unplanned downtime. You'll contribute to network strategy, incident resolution, deployment planning, and operational readiness for critical manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the onsite network engineer for OT-related initiatives
• Lead deployment and adoption of OT network infrastructure
• Design and implement secure, resilient network architectures for industrial and manufacturing environments
• Integrate OT cybersecurity requirements including segmentation, IDMZ, and access controls
• Provide escalation support for network incidents and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and vendors
• Support network standards, implementation practices, and documentation for OT environments
• Mentor and train local IT support teams and operational staff on OT network fundamentals and troubleshooting
• Contribute to project planning, cutovers, maintenance activities, and operational readiness
  
  Translate business and production requirements into effective network solutions

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience
• Experience supporting OT, industrial, or manufacturing network environments
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and secure network design
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across IT and plant teams
• Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in high-availability environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ownership mindset and ability to drive tasks through completion

Required Skills/

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or commensurate work experience
• Enterprise LAN/WAN networking experience
• OT / industrial network experience
• Network segmentation and secure network design
• IDMZ architecture and firewall connectivity
• VLANs, routing, switching, and redundancy
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting
• Wireless networking in industrial settings
• High availability network design

Other

Skills:

• Manufacturing or plant-floor environment experience
• Automation, controls, or industrial systems networking
• Large-scale OT network deployment experience
• Production engineering, maintenance, and operations collaboration
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or similar
• Development of network standards and deployment procedures
