An established multi-discipline engineering firm is hiring a Bridge Engineering Manager to lead its bridge group in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is a leadership role with full ownership of business development, financial performance and staff management for the group.
What you'll do- Grow the firm's bridge work with county, state and local clients across Kentucky
- Coordinate the group's growth plan with office and practice leadership
- Manage the group budget and allocate resources
- Lead and contribute to proposals
- Serve as the senior technical resource for project managers and engineering staff
- Set staffing needs, interview and hire for the group
- Lead, coach and develop the team: goals, feedback, 1:1s and performance reviews
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10+ years of bridge engineering experience
- Project management and business development experience
- Experience with Kentucky county and state transportation clients
- Supervisory experience
- Full time, on site in Georgetown, KY
- Candidates must be local or commutable; no relocation assistance or visa sponsorship
