We are looking for a Production Assistant Manager to join the team! This is a full-time, direct hire position in manufacturing in Georgetown, KY.

Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality and other production related activities.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality, and shipping/receiving.
• Coordinate plant activities with departmental managers to ensure manufacturing objectives are achieved in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and profit goals.
• Implement cost‑effective controls over capital expenditures, operating costs, manpower, wages, and salaries.
• Manage capital asset maintenance programs and processes.
• Establish and monitor overall plant performance to meet production and quality standards.
• Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses.
• Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; oversee replacements and necessary adjustments.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to accomplish company goals and objectives.
• Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
• Promote 5S practices, shop floor organization, and facility cleanliness.
• Provide direction, development, and leadership to production supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and TS‑16949 standards.
• Support and comply with ISO‑14001 responsibilities and requirements.
• Consult with engineering personnel regarding machine and equipment modifications to improve production and product quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or five years of manufacturing supervisor/manager experience is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Automotive manufacturing is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
• Background with manufacturing methods and process improvement programs/procedures is required.
• Previous production experience and injection molding training is required unless specifically waived by the Plant Manager based on work experience and demonstrated ability.
• Must have the ability to plan, organize, communicate, and motivate employees.
• Must be able to prioritize own workday schedule.

Details:

• This is a full-time, direct hire position in manufacturing in Georgetown, KY.
• Schedule: Days, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; must be able to work overtime, as needed.
• Location: Manufacturing in Georgetown, KY
• Pay: $70-75K+
• This is a W-2 position. No B2C/C2C. No Sponsorship.
