Stamping Engineering Technician
Actalent is seeking a Stamping Engineering Technician to support model launch at manufacturing plants through pre-launch activities for initial setup, die trials, and tooling handover. This role involves leading toolroom/shop activities, coordinating die build confirmation (T0‑T1 activities, DMR confirmation, shipping confirmation), data entry, XVL viewing, and printing. The position requires quick learning and use of Quick Base software, die line try activities with Die Manufacturing and NAMC pilot team, and support for die data feedback and design reviews.
Responsibility also includes safety, quality, and productivity confirmation of die and part, and documentation of activities, handover, and reflection for the manufacturing plant.
- Support model launch at manufacturing plants through pre-launch activities (initial setup, die trials, tooling handover)
- Lead toolroom/shop activities and die build confirmation (T0‑T1, DMR, shipping)
- Operate using Quick Base software, XVL viewing, data entry, and printing
- Coordinate die line try activities with Die Manufacturing and NAMC pilot team
- Lead die tryout at NAMC and set countermeasure direction
- Provide die data feedback, participate in die design reviews, and confirm safety, quality, and productivity of die and parts
- Document activities, handover, and reflection for the manufacturing plant
