Georgetown Community Hospital, a 12 minute drive from Lexington, KY, is searching for a Registered Nurse to join our Nursery/Women's Care Unit. This is a PRN position and you would be a member of a highly skilled team of Acute Care nurses, physicians, and technicians. Your graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current RN license, current BLS certification, and ability to acquire ACLS within a year are the minimum requirements.

Responsibilities- As an RN you will ensure delivery of patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes
- As an RN you would perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
