RN - Emergency Dept Nights

Overview

Georgetown Community Hospital, a 12 minute drive from Lexington, KY, is searching for a Registered Nurse to join our ER Emergency Department. This is NIGHT shift 7p-7a, and you would be a member of a highly skilled team of ER nurses, physicians, and technicians. Your graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current RN license, current BLS certification, and ability to acquire ACLS and PALS are the minimum requirements.

This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for RN’s.

This is an exciting time to join us as we have recently completed an entire renovation to our Emergency Department. Plus we are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus to RN’s.

• Ensure delivery of patient care including assessment, planning, implementations, and evaluation of patient outcomes
• Revise plan of patient care as needed
• Provide compassion to the patient and the patient’s family members
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity level
• Assign triage levels
• Complete continuing education courses as needed
• Attend staff meetings and work as a team toward improvement goals

• Associate’s Degree ADN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing BSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred
• Current RN license in the state of KY
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
