Staff Registered Nurse Pre Op / PACU – Post Anesthesia Care

Georgetown Community Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to provide care in the Pre‑Op and Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

$20.36/hr – $38.03/hr

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (personal hygiene, nutrition, ambulation).
• Collaborates across disciplines, coordinating patient transfer, discharge, and referrals.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Kentucky.
• ACLS, BLS & PALS all within 30 days of hire.
