Position: Food Service Manager 2
Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 to join our team at a premier auto manufacturing client site in Georgetown, KY. As a key member of the on-site leadership team, the Food Service Manager will report directly to the General Manager and lead a team of approximately 10 employees. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily food service operations at one café, as well as managing grab-and-go coolers and snack offerings.

The ideal candidate will ensure excellence in food safety, sanitation, and customer service while maintaining efficient and high-quality meal production. A strong culinary background is preferred, as this position may occasionally support cooking and food preparation.

You'll Do
  • Oversee the daily operations of dining venue, ensuring quality food production, safety, and service standards.

  • Manage and develop frontline staff to ensure a positive team culture and consistent performance.

  • Control food and labor costs through effective scheduling, production planning, and inventory management.

  • Drive client satisfaction by responding to feedback, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety programs.

What You Bring
  • Previous experience managing dining operations, preferably in a contract food service setting.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience training and supervising hourly employees

  • Working knowledge of food production, basic culinary operations, and service execution.

  • Familiarity with food and labor management systems (e.g., UFS, Kronos).

  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build positive client relationships.

  • A collaborative mindset and the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
