Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer

Software Engineer (Contract) – Georgetown, KY

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring for a Software Engineer for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, KY. This is a 12‑month contract assignment. The pay range for this role is between $55,000 and $70,000 per year (or $55.00‑$70.00 per hour). Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.

As part of Toyota Production Engineering (PE) division’s Manufacturing Innovation & Transformation (MIT) department, you will work as a C#.NET web application developer on a Scrum team to build applications that improve efficiency and reduce lead time for the PE division’s team members.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies and support continuous improvement of the team’s processes
• Working knowledge in developing C# .NET web applications (NET core a plus)
• Proficient in React, Angular, or MVC framework (at least one)
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, especially Scrum
• Must be prepared to show and/or discuss examples of previously developed systems/applications
• Experience designing relational databases

• Experience using AI tools to enhance software development work
• Experience developing applications using a microservices architecture
• Experience working as part of a Scrum team
• Experience building web applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud platforms
• Proficient in SQL Server, Document
  
  DB/MongoDB
• Background in automotive or other manufacturing/engineering
