Assembler - 2nd Shift at Momentum Manufacturing Group

Location:

Georgetown, MA (2nd shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)

Responsible for the assembly of finished goods using customer supplied blueprints, specifications and internally developed SOPs. Products range from simple handheld parts to large complex assemblies. This role also supports finished goods inventory management, packaging, and shipment to customers. Must be a team player and committed to expanding and improving skills.

• Assemble and package products from fabricated, machined and purchased components
• Use a variety of hand tools including impact drivers, drills, screwdrivers, wrenches and sockets
• Ensure work is performed safely and meets quality standards
• Assist in managing finished goods inventory using computer systems and physical inventory controls
• Package products for damage-free transport and load materials onto trucks
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and care for equipment
• Follow company rules and policies
• Maintain attention to detail and focus on assigned tasks
• Adhere to safety rules and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Wear required PPE

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• One year related experience and/or training preferred
• Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel preferred
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing or industrial construction preferred
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus but training will be provided
• Basic math skills

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to stand, sit, bend and kneel without difficulty
• Ability to repeatedly lift/pull/push 50 lbs
• Exposure to loud noises
• Working around fork trucks and other manufacturing machinery
