Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and professional Design‑Build Sales Specialist to join our team. This role involves selling landscape construction projects—including pools, patios, plantings, and more—while ensuring an exceptional client experience from first contact through project completion. The ideal candidate is driven, organized, and capable of meeting sales goals while also assisting with marketing strategies to grow our brand and client base.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new business opportunities with residential and commercial clients.
- Meet with clients on‑site to discuss project needs and design concepts.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, including pricing, timelines, and designs.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source materials.
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Lead pre‑construction meetings to align client expectations with the project team.
- Monitor and manage the marketing budget to ensure effective use of resources.
- Track and achieve seasonal and annual sales goals.
- Maintain strong, ongoing client relationships throughout and after project completion.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in landscaping, construction, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of outdoor living projects (pools, patios, plantings, masonry, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both outdoors with clients and indoors for administrative tasks.
- Willing and able to meet with prospective clients before and after work based on clients schedule.
- Experience with budgeting, marketing strategies, and sales performance tracking.
- Team‑oriented, with the ability to bridge clients and construction teams effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft Office functions.
