Job Title: School Psychologist Assistant
Location: Georgetown, SC
Pay Rate: $30–$33 per hour
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist Assistant to support the delivery of psychological services in a school-based setting. The School Psychologist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed School Psychologist to assist with student assessments, behavioral interventions, data collection, and support services that promote academic, social, and emotional well-being.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the School Psychologist in conducting student observations and gathering behavioral, academic, and developmental data.
Support in administering and scoring standardized tests and other assessment tools as directed.
Help prepare reports, documentation, and materials used in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and student evaluations.
Participate in implementing behavior intervention plans and monitoring student progress.
Provide support for social-emotional learning activities and mental health awareness initiatives.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all student-related activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field required;
Master’s degree preferred.Experience working in a school setting or with children/adolescents preferred.
Knowledge of special education procedures, behavioral interventions, and assessment tools a plus.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Full-time, on-site position aligned with the school calendar year.
Monday–Friday, daytime hours following the school’s schedule.
Contract duration: full academic year, with potential for renewal based on performance and need
IDR Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 37 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
