PRN - RPSGT - Tidelands - Georgetown, SC

Med Bridge is seeking experienced RPSGTs or RTs to work at Tidelands within the Georgetown Hospital System. The position provides sleep services on an as needed basis from 8pm-7am. Competitive hourly rates are available, depending on experience and patient ratio.

Must be able to work Sunday and/or Monday nights as PRN!

Responsibilities
  • Facilitating tests and collecting data.
  • Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results.
  • Following proper polysomnographic procedures including use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks.
  • Scoring of clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes and tabulating final data for review.
  • Compliance with regulations and safety laws.
Job Requirements
  • High School diploma or higher education level.
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
  • Certification as Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.
Physical Demands Of The Job
  • Employee regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; vision required includes close, distance, peripheral, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Use hands to operate office equipment.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
