• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, using de‑escalation techniques when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security‑related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Assist with access control procedures for visitors, staff, and vendors, verifying identification and credentials as required by site protocols.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.
• Collaborate with facility staff and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies within the healthcare environment.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the location.

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
