** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate hospital personnel and emergency services when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff access in accordance with site-specific procedures.

+ Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activity, and other security-related observations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
