About The Role
The New Accounts Supervisor will provide support to Teller/New Account Representatives to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency at the location. The New Accounts Supervisor will follow the guidelines provided by management and lead by example.
JOB DUTIES- Creating a proactive sales and service environment to maximize employee sales productivity and customer service effectiveness for existing and potential customers in order to achieve financial goals and deliver superior customer service
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate the personal banking team to achieve performance goals.

- Collaborating with management to develop and implement a sales and service plan for the location, which incorporates assigned goals and sales and service activities in order to achieve the location's objectives
- Reviewing and monitoring sales and service performance against plan to identify gaps, issues, and best practices as well as developing and implementing action plans to close the gaps and resolve issues
- Working with customers and prospects to build loyalty and deepen relationships by uncovering financial needs and recommending the best products, services, and solutions to meet those needs
- Contacting new customers by phone to follow up to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and address any additional financial needs based on the customer's financial priorities
- Engaging customers in the lobby to assist, educate, and train them on how to conduct transactions through self-service technologies
- Connecting customers to the appropriate loan, mortgage, treasury management, or investment specialist that can help them with specialized financial needs
- Conducting some outbound sales activities such as meeting with local businesses and attending community events to establish visibility in the community and drive business to the bank
- Performing transactions such as opening accounts, accepting deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing money orders and cashier's checks
- Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection
- Complying with all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures
- Completing and passing all required regulatory compliance training as assigned
- Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management
- Ability to read and interpret data, numbers, trends, and instructions to make effective decisions

- Monitor progress and track results of goals set by management

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to work location hours including some evenings
- Minimum of three years' banking experience, with a focus on New Accounts- required
- High School diploma or higher- required
- Sales or Marketing experience- required
- Management or Leadership experience- preferred
- A successful record of coaching and mentoring employees to improved results- preferred
- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
- Location is closed on Saturday and Sunday
