What We Do:
We provide in-home private-duty nursing care for children between the ages of 0 and 20 years old. These children are medically and technologically dependent. Most have many other special medical conditions that require meticulous attention from skilled practitioners.

Education/Certification Requirement:
- Current, unrestricted nursing license approved by the Texas State Board of Nursing
Job Type(s): Full-Time and PRN
Functions & Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Provides exceptional nursing services, including medications, as prescribed by a licensed physician
- Monitors for potential abuse or neglect situations and follows the regulated reporting guidelines for any suspected issues
- Monitors all aspects of health and safety within the patient's home
- Submits correct documentation after each shift performed
- Upholds aspects of HIPAA
- Maintains medical supplies as needed
- Available to parents for health-related questions and/or concerns
- Maintains consistent and punctual attendance
- Upholds Company Policies and Procedures
- Supports organization's goals and values
- Works well with other professionals

Experience:
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred but not required
- PALS Home Health is implementing a new Nursing Residency Program to enable new graduate nurses and those with less than 2 years of relevant experience to perform to their highest ability while taking exceptional care of their patient(s)
License Requirement (one of the following):
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Working Days (varies per case):
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Wednesday
- Thursday
- Friday
- Saturday: Immediate openings for weekend nurses
- Sunday: Immediate openings for weekend nurses
Hours per week:
- 20-24 on average for PRN
- 30 on average for Full-Time
- Hours vary depending on shift need/client case
