Plasma Center Nurse RN – Bio Life Plasma Services
As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) you will support plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager or Assistant Manager and the Center Physician. Your primary focus will be ensuring donor safety, eligibility, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, including informed consent, medical history evaluation, physical examination, and blood testing.
- Manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results.
- Follow SOPs for medical emergencies, develop standing orders with the Center Physician, and coordinate donor transport to emergency care facilities.
- Maintain compliance with plasma collection industry regulations and manufacturing environment standards.
- Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Handle employee incidents, refer to occupational health/ER, and provide EHS guidance when necessary.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent, plus a graduate‑equivalent registered nursing program with state requirements.
- Current state license or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Completion of FDA‑approved Bio Life Medical Support Specialist training.
- Minimum of two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Hourly wage range: $33.60 – $46.20 (USA – TX – Georgetown). Additional benefits for U.S. based employees include short‑term incentives, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and wellness benefits. Eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation and up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year.
