As an LVN with Touchmark, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents in our Assisted Living & Memory Care communities receive the highest level of dignity and care. You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.

Responsibilities
  • Be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.
  • Ensure residents in Assisted Living & Memory Care receive the highest level of dignity and care.
  • Participate in designing and implementing care plans for each resident, working closely with a team of nurses.
  • Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions.
  • Maintain patience and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.
Qualifications
  • Must possess an LVN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license.
  • Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus.
  • Have computer knowledge and experience with healthcare charting systems.
  • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
  • Must be physically able to traverse the expanse of the campus to give potential residents medications and treatments as necessary.
  • Enjoy being part of a team; you will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident.
