Clinical ResponsibilitiesEnsure each patient receives outstanding service by providing a welcoming environment, maintaining high standards, and demonstrating solid product and program knowledge
Conduct consultations and Initial Assessments with patients regarding Medi-Weight loss programs
Obtain and review patient medical and psychosocial history relevant to patient care
Conduct physical examinations according to company guidelines
Order and review laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, including EKGs
Prescribe and/or dispense FDA-approved appetite suppressants according to state and federal guidelines and per the collaborative agreement with the supervising physician
Maintain all required documentation for patient care and medication management in the EMR according to company standards
Review patient progress and manage patient care accordingly
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary; communicate with collaborating physician and/or specialists regarding patient care
Conduct patient calls including appointment reminders, care calls, progress updates, patient concerns, and lab results
Follow Medical Director requirements for chart review per the Collaborative Agreement
Stay in contact with Medical Affairs regarding implementation of patient care policies and location procedures
Adhere to all operational guidelines including HIPAA, OSHA, and location-specific requirements
Adhere to and stay current on all Medi-Weight loss program system standards

IV Certification
Certified Nurse Practitioner OR Licensed Physician Assistant (Required)
Valid Texas license in good standing (Required)
DEA Certification (Preferred; Required within 90 days of hire)
BLS Certification (Required)
