American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and NIH Stroke Scale certification.
Requirements- Active TX or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- ACLS and rhythm interpretation skills preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- Med/Surg unit with 14 beds
- Staffing includes 3 RNs and 1 PCT per shift with a free float CNC
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Uses Alaris infusion pumps
- Charting in Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekend requirement
- Unit performs bronchoscopies and EGD/colonoscopy procedures
- Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg unit performing bronchoscopy and GI procedures
- Navy scrub color required
- Best suited for flexible, team-oriented candidates
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
