Maintenance Service Tech - Georgetown, TX
Job Summary: The role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks for a portfolio of Build to Rent communities, ensuring they are in excellent condition and meet the highest quality standards. The technician will respond to service requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs to maintain resident satisfaction and uphold the company's reputation for excellent service. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 6 years experience in service roles - residential real estate preferred.
- 1+ years of management experience required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, valid insurance, and reliable work transportation.
- Experience with HVAC, Maintenance level Electrical, Basic Plumbing, other general maintenance.
- Knowledgeable of codes, municipal by-laws, inspection, estimating, and planning
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and high level of proficiency with handheld smart device (iPad, etc.)
- Universal E.P.A. certification required.
- Experience working with Lennox HVAC Systems preferred.
- MPO Certification preferred but not necessary.
Essential Functions
- Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours as requested.
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to move around work environment including stairs and construction sites.
- Lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
- Reliable transportation that meets job responsibilities.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
- Maintain at least minimum car insurance required by Texas law.
