RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as defined by City policy.
- Must be able to work for long hours and stand for extended periods of time (minimum of four hours at a time).
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Must be physically able to work outside and must tolerate cold weather in winter and extreme heat in summer.
- Minimum age 16.
- Prefer knowledge of the game of golf, rules, and etiquette.
- Some reading, writing, and simple math skills are needed as well as the physical coordination to operate equipment.
- Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check.
- Must pass a pre‑employment basic physical, drug screen, and functional assessment screening (Level 1).

The physical demands of this position include moderate physical labor, which requires strength and agility. The employee frequently must stand, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The employee may occasionally sit and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift, shovel, and carry 35 to 50 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
