Airport Business Development Administrator
The Airport Business Development Administrator supports the coordination and execution of business development efforts related to airport advertising. The role assists with preparing responses to Requests for Proposals, organizing proposal materials, managing internal workflows, and tracking competitor data. The position also helps prepare quarterly and annual presentation reports for airport concession contracts, compiling key performance data, visuals, and narrative summaries for executive review and airport authority reporting.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals and extension offers for airport and transit advertising programs.
- Proofread and format proposal content; update bios, statistics, and relevant business data.
- Coordinate graphic renderings, site maps, and location-based visuals with external and internal teams.
- Research local businesses and potential advertisers for inclusion in mock-ups and proposal narratives.
- Create and maintain inventory charts to support capital investment and sales projections.
- Support the finalization of proposals and manage post-submission deliverables and follow-up requests.
- Coordinate collection, tracking, and analysis of competitor and market data, including submission of FOIA/public record requests.
- Maintain an organized digital archive of past proposals, bid outcomes, and research findings.
- Monitor industry trends and maintain an internal database of relevant intelligence.
- Track project timelines, tasks, and deliverables using internal project management systems.
- Maintain business development files, ensure document version control, and organize team contact databases.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, taking notes, and coordinating communications related to business development activities.
- Prepare quarterly and annual presentation reports for current airport concession contracts, including visual summaries and performance metrics.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Forms) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Skilled in Adobe Acrobat Professional for form creation and document management.
- Strong written communication, proofreading, and formatting skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization, time management, and follow-through skills.
- Familiar with project management tools and CRM databases.
- Highly organized in maintaining digital archives, document version control, and structured file systems.
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced business environment.
- Required:
- High school diploma.
- 3 years of experience in an office setting.
- Preferred:
- College degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Experience in administration or project management.
- Hybrid work schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Hourly rate of $25–$30 per hour, dependent on relevant experience and qualifications.
