Position: Experienced Graphic Designer POSITION: FULL TIME | PEACHTREE CITY, GA | HYBRID
Location: Peachtree City

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Graphic Designer to lead visual design initiatives across digital and print platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong design portfolio, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver compelling, brand-aligned creative solutions. This position is accountable for SMC³ graphic design across corporate branding, technology products, and SMC³ events, creating visual materials that support marketing, communications, and product development goals.

This role requires mastery of professional design fundamentals, formal training in visual communication, and the ability to originate concepts. Candidates must demonstrate expert-level design thinking, and the ability to lead projects from concept through production.

Essential Functions
  • Lead conceptual development for major campaigns, events, and product visuals, creating original ideas rooted in design principles and brand strategy.
  • Maintain and evolve SMC³’s brand identity across all platforms to ensure consistency, quality, and cohesion.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and scalable design systems.
  • Take ownership of the design pipeline by executing assigned work and proactively identifying new design needs and creative opportunities across the organization.
  • Lead the creation of visual assets across digital, print, presentations, and event materials, including campaigns, social media, infographics, brochures, case studies, and event signage.
  • Design and produce SMC³’s Review magazine, ensuring strong visual storytelling, layout consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards.
Web & Event Design Expertise
  • Design responsive websites or landing pages in Figma, including wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Translate educational event goals, branding, and user needs into visually compelling and user-friendly web layouts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Presentation
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Stay current with design trends and technologies to continuously elevate creative output.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, product, and UI/UX—to ensure cohesive brand representation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating original concept development, design rationale, and execution across print, digital, and brand systems.
  • Proven web design experience with strong design thinking skills and the ability to prototype and iterate quickly.
  • Ability to work autonomously, owning projects from concept through production with minimal direction.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:

The following experience is a plus, but not required:
  • Experience designing for technology/Saas or supply chain organizations.
  • Experience supporting large-scale conferences, trade shows, or event brands.
  • Experience with motion graphics.
Software
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
Applicants must submit a portfolio that demonstrates:
  • Original concept development and design thinking—not template-driven work.
  • Strong foundations in typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Execution across multi-channel print and digital projects.
  • Examples of brand identity application and consistency.
  • Complex problem-solving, with clear rationale behind design choices.

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or veteran status.
