Service Advisor / Writer
Campers Inn RV of Macon-Byron is seeking a Service Advisor/Writer to work with customers scheduling service work and communicating updates. The role includes phone calls and face‑to‑face customer service, coordinating between customers and technicians, and keeping customers informed throughout the service process.

- Identify RV problems and services by listening to customer descriptions of symptoms.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage, explaining provisions and exclusions.
- Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer payment, including deductibles.
- Prepare repair orders (RO).
- Handle customer complaints and maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
- Periodically check on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contact the customer as needed to keep them updated with their RV’s status.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience: Minimum of one year’s RV service experience preferred.
- Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Reliable and strong work ethic.
- Commitment to superior customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge or ability to learn company computer systems, including Motility Systems 2K, and other software.
- Ability to safely handle solvents and chemicals.
- Ability to move RVs of various sizes.
- Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
