Orthodontic Dental Assisting experience is preferred; however, we will support training for an experienced dental assistant. Our ideal candidate loves giving great care, is flexible and reliable, and seeks to grow professionally.

- A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.
- Orthodontic Assistant state certification (nitrous oxide, dental radiology, EFDA or EDDA) is required.
- CPR certification.
- Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service.
- A minimum of 1-year orthodontic assisting experience.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Customer service oriented with pleasant demeanor.
- Effective written and verbal communication with all staff and management.
- Professional image reflecting company values.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, multitasking, timely performance.
- PC skills and ability to learn new programs; proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office, fax, copy machines, and general office equipment.
- Dental Office Environment.
- Hours may change to meet business needs.
- May require travel to offices providing orthodontic services.
- Attend and participate in all office meetings, continuing education events, and morning huddles.
- Work requires effective communication with patients, parents, and staff.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and perform twisting, turning, bending, and stooping.
