Job descriptionWe’re currently seeking two Technical Designers to join our Preproduction team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a growing product range across RTW, athleisure, active wear, bras, intimates, private label, brand, and wholesale categories.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Create, update, and maintain complete, production-ready technical packages.
- Develop measurement specifications, construction details, technical sketches, and bill-of-material information.
- Lead fit sessions using live models and dress forms.
- Evaluate prototypes, fit samples, PP samples, and TOP samples for fit, construction, workmanship, and consistency.
- Prepare clear fit comments supported by photos, diagrams, and revised specifications.
- Track samples, comments, and approvals from initial development through production.
- Review garment measurements, patterns, and construction methods; recommend corrections as needed.
- Identify fit, construction, and production issues early and help drive timely solutions.
- Maintain approved measurements, fit, and construction details throughout development and production.
- Communicate directly with overseas factories and vendors to resolve technical questions and keep development moving.
- Support the development and maintenance of blocks, grade rules, measurement standards, and consistent fit across categories.
- Collaborate with internal teams and overseas partners.
- Maintain organized records of fittings, approvals, revisions, and final production specifications.
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of TOP and PP sample rooms.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Provide support for additional product development and sample room priorities as needed.
- Approximately 5–7 years of Technical Design experience.
- Experience in apparel categories such as RTW, active wear, athleisure, bras, or intimates.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, measurements, and technical packages.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with overseas factories and vendors.
