A hospital is seeking a radiologist for locum tenens coverage.

Relax in a kayak, enjoy a scenic game of golf, or explore historic sites all in Eastern Georgia.

This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each week. There is optional call coverage every fourth week, from 5:00 PM Monday to 5:00 AM the following Monday, which is appreciated but not required. Call would be  team consists of five part-time physicians, with no APP support. The role focuses on chest and general radiology, with no mammography or procedures required.

Daily volume includes approximately 30-35 chest CTs, 5 HR CTs, 7-9 lung screenings, and some chest X-rays as needed. Inpatient and emergency department volumes will fluctuate based on demand. The average study volume is approximately 27 studies per day, all adult. The facility uses EPIC as the EMR system.
