Qualifications:

Board certification by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS) is mandatory. Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery is essential. An active Georgia medical license or eligibility to obtain one is required. A minimum of two to five years of experience in a clinical cardiothoracic surgery practice is preferred.
