Locum tenens coverage is sought on an ASAP basis to maintain continuity of child and adolescent psychiatric services.

About the Clinician's WorkdayThe clinician will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for a primarily child and adolescent population, with some adult patients, working approximately 2 days per week (16 hours) during day shift hours on-site.
Clinical responsibilities include conducting initial psychiatric evaluations (60-90 minutes) and follow-up medication management visits (30 minutes) for patients presenting with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, behavioral and emotional disorders, trauma-related conditions, and psychotic disorders.
The clinician will collaborate with psychiatric, nursing, counseling, and community support staff within a multidisciplinary care environment. Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and prescriptive authority are required for this position.
