Aboutthe Clinician's Workday
The physician associate will provide weekend cardiothoracic surgery coverage with 24-hour non-restrictive call responsibilities from Friday through Monday morning. The role requires comprehensive patient rounding on the CVICU, emergency department consultations, and managing all CT surgery-related cases with a 30-minute recall requirement. The clinician will handle both cardiovascular and thoracic cases, averaging 8 patients daily, while working collaboratively with 1 surgeon and 2 APPs using the EPIC EMR system.
Vein harvesting certification and Georgia medical licensure are mandatory requirements for this position.
