Position: Full-Time; 185 days per year.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a paraprofessional certificate or be eligible to obtain one, i.e., meet the requirements under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, possessing an Associate's Degree or the equivalent of two years of college, or have successfully passed the appropriate state or national test. Documentation must be provided with the application.
• Teaching certificate desired.
• Experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the teacher with routine procedures and perform tasks such as supervising students, copying student materials, preparing instructional materials, and bulletin boards.
• Assist with paperwork, record-keeping, and data collection.
• Work with students in small groups and provide individual instruction.
• Work independently and follow directions.
• Assist with off-campus and community activities.
