Job Overview
We are seeking a Preschool Director to serve as the primary leader of our 80‑student early childhood program. This role is a blend of executive administration and educational leadership, requiring a professional who can ensure our program consistently reflects Christian, family‑centered values. You will be responsible for the safety, educational quality, and spiritual growth of our students while fostering a warm, supportive environment for both staff and families.
ResponsibilitiesSpiritual & Educational Leadership
- Develop a Chapel curriculum and lead weekly presentations for students.
- Oversee general curriculum development and ensure its effective dissemination across all classrooms.
- Provide active, in‑classroom support to teachers to maintain high instructional standards.
- Ensure all school policies remain aligned with the mission and philosophies of the Church.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations and safety of the 80‑student facility.
- Prepare and monitor the annual budget in coordination with the Board.
- Oversee tuition collection and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain and update school policies and procedures as needed.
- Facilitate clear, professional written and verbal communication with parents and guardians.
- Plan and execute special events, such as Preschool Sunday and movie nights.
- Act as a vital liaison between the Preschool, the Senior Pastor, and the Board.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent experience in the field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous classroom experience in a preschool or elementary setting is highly desirable.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor staff and lead a collaborative team.
- Communication: Effective communicator with both adults and children; skilled in conflict management.
- Technical: Working knowledge of Microsoft suite.
- Organization: Strong ability to manage financial records and departmental budgets.
The Director is responsible for the recruitment, training, and ongoing mentorship of all preschool staff. This includes conducting regular staff reviews and performance evaluations to ensure professional growth and program excellence.
Job Details- Job Type: Part‑Time.
- Expected
Hours:
Monday through Friday, morning/midday schedule (approx. 20–25 hours per week). - Salary: $26,000 annually.
- Reports To: Senior Pastor.
- Accountability: Accountable to the Senior Pastor and the Preschool Board.
