$45.00/hr – $50.00/hr

12 months contract (Hybrid: 3 days onsite every week)

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite Ellenwood, GA, 2 days remote.
• Travel may be required – up to 1x per quarter to Tysons, VA (reimbursement will be provided).
• Standard business hours with occasional after‑hours support for critical testing or upgrades.

The purpose of this engagement is to provide engineering expertise in testing, validation, and integration of mobile packet core networks (4G/5G) in support of SES’s ongoing projects and service deployments.

• Minimum 1-4 years of hands‑on experience with packet core (EPC/5GC).
• College degree strongly preferred.
• Familiarity and understanding of 3
  
  GPP standards (Release 15–18).
• Experience with Mavenir, Druid, or equivalent cores.
• Proficiency with Wireshark, tcpdump, and other analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Spirent Landslide, Keysight, IXIA, Viavi, CMX 500, or equivalent.
• Scripting/automation skills (Python preferred, but other scripting languages will be considered).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Any routing platform experience; agnostic to the platform (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
• CCNA or JNCA certifications preferred, but not required.
• BGP and IP are a nice to have.
• Candidates with strong networking experience, but no experience with 5G, will be considered for the role as long as they have an interest in working in the 5G space.
