Stamping Maintenance Specialist — Ellabell, GA (onsite) — Perm Position

About the Role:

The Stamping Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities within the stamping shop. This role ensures equipment reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement to support production goals.

• Coordinate, monitor, and perform technical maintenance processes in the stamping shop to meet operational goals.
• Report on task progress at the beginning, during, and upon completion of assignments.
• Develop detailed action plans to achieve maintenance performance metrics, including downtime, preventive maintenance (PM), equipment monitoring, improvements, and safety/environmental compliance.
• Create and deliver training plans to enhance team member skill levels across the section.
• Prepare and execute annual maintenance operational plans; track and report progress.
• Support Assistant Managers and Managers in fostering collaboration, teamwork, and engagement.
• Analyze downtime issues and propose corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Work flexible schedules to address urgent equipment issues, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Monitor and analyze annual maintenance budgets for the stamping shop.
• Verify part specifications, create material numbers, and manage PR/PO processes in collaboration with purchasing.
• Oversee parts receiving, organizing, issuing, and payment processing with supervisory approval.
• Manage purchasing, distribution, and inventory control of maintenance materials, including tools and subsidiary items.
• Communicate effectively with leadership to manage team challenges and support employee well-being.
• Mentor shop members to drive continuous improvement and skill development.

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in automated manufacturing plants.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for PLC-based automation equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications.
• 1+ years of stamping shop maintenance experience within the automotive industry.
• Mechanical or electrical certifications.
• Hands-on experience with AB PLC programming and control circuits.
• Proven experience in equipment installation, design study, documentation, inspection, and testing of new or modified equipment/processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
