Plant Engineer | Operations & Maintenance
We are seeking a hands-on Plant Engineer to support and improve the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a field-oriented engineer who enjoys solving complex equipment challenges, leading maintenance efforts, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced plant environment.
What You’ll Do- Provide daily technical support to production and maintenance teams to ensure reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Lead troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of manufacturing and process equipment to minimize downtime
- Oversee maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Manage installation, commissioning, and startup of new or modified equipment and facilities
- Identify and implement equipment and process improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and performance
- Support upgrades to electrical and control systems to improve plant operability
- Coordinate vendors and contractors while managing maintenance and reliability costs
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Provide on-call technical support for urgent or critical plant issues as needed
- Promote compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and reinforce a strong safety culture
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on engineering or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience supporting or leading maintenance teams
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of process controls and equipment reliability practices
- Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with strong communication and leadership skills
- Exposure to plant‑wide operations and decision‑making
