As our financial services business continues to evolve, we are looking for a detail-oriented professional with captive finance or lending experience to help strengthen our policies, procedures, and internal processes.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and translating business requirements into clear, practical policies and procedures.
The primary focus of this role is to review, rewrite, document, and implement policies and procedures that support SANY Capital USA's financial services operations. You'll work with business stakeholders to understand how processes operate today, identify gaps, develop documentation, and help ensure policies are understood and followed.
The ideal candidate has experience in captive finance, equipment finance, vendor finance, commercial lending, or a similar financial services environment. You don't need to be a senior executive or a career regulatory specialist. We are looking for someone with strong writing skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work through ambiguity and influence stakeholders.
What You'll Do- Develop and Rewrite Policies: Review existing policies and procedures, identify gaps or outdated guidance, and create clear, practical documentation that reflects business needs and applicable requirements.
- Document Processes and Controls: Work with business teams to map workflows, clarify responsibilities, document control activities, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement Policy Changes: Partner with stakeholders to communicate updated policies, establish consistent practices, and support implementation across the organization.
- Support Risk and Compliance
Activities:
Help identify operational and compliance risks and ensure appropriate policies, procedures, and controls are documented. - Maintain Policy Governance: Organize policy documentation, manage revisions, track approvals, and maintain records of updates and implementation.
- Support Audit and Remediation
Activities:
Help gather documentation, address identified process or control gaps, and track corrective actions through completion. - Assist with Compliance Requirements: Support applicable financial services compliance activities, including relevant customer due diligence, AML, sanctions, and related requirements, based on the business's activities.
- Partner with Stakeholders: Work with business leaders and cross-functional teams to clarify expectations, resolve questions, and promote consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
- Promote Accountability: Help employees understand their responsibilities and reinforce the importance of sound processes, documentation, and internal controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in captive finance, equipment finance, vendor finance, commercial lending, leasing, or a similar financial services environment.
- Demonstrated experience writing, revising, implementing, or maintaining policies and procedures.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear, easy-to-follow documentation.
- Familiarity with internal controls, risk assessments, compliance processes, or audit support.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple documents, deadlines, and priorities.
- A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- The ability to work collaboratively while confidently communicating requirements and addressing resistance to change.
- Experience with risk and controls matrices, policy governance, or compliance documentation is a plus. Relevant certifications are welcome but not required.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy taking processes that are informal, inconsistent, or outdated and turning them into something structured and effective. You're comfortable asking questions, working with different stakeholders, and following through to ensure new policies are not just written but implemented.
If you have a financial services background, strong policy-writing skills, and a desire to make a meaningful impact in a growing business, we'd like to hear from you.
