Summary

Salary: $49,960 to $115,213 per year
RequirementsU.S. Citizenship required. Must be registered for Selective Service. Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Expect occasional travel. Must meet suitability for federal employment.
Duties- Performs a variety of continuing inventory management tasks requiring analytical judgment, procedural and technical skills.
- Assists higher‑graded specialist in developing specific portions of inventory management support projects or analytical and evaluative studies; exchanges facts with functional specialists, managers, staff, specialists, operating officials; and provides support of other organizational representation in inventory management work.
- Uses automated information technology capabilities, such as databases, systems and computer‑generated products, to perform continuing routing inventory management duties.
- Performs special assignments in keeping with formal training plan.
GS‑7 or GS‑9 if you meet one of the following:
GS‑7: 4‑year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and superior academic achievement (SAA) or 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS‑05. Majority of SAA requirements include class standing, GPA or honor society membership.
GS‑9: 1 year of specialized experience or combination of graduate education and specialized experience that together equal the required pay band.
Knowledge of inventory management principles, information technology capabilities and support activities; ability to communicate orally and in writing.
