Physical Therapy Ass't I - Acute Rehabilitation

Position:
Physical Therapy Assistant I (Acute Rehabilitation).

• Implement and document patient treatment per plan of care developed by the therapist across the age continuum (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric).
• Provide formal and informal teaching of patient and family.
• Understand and implement a plan of care and recognize the need for intervention by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate effectively both written and verbally with other healthcare personnel, the patient, family, and community members.
• Assist patients in practicing skills in mobility and exercise.

• Graduate of an accredited two year physical therapy assistant program.
• Licensed as a physical therapy assistant in the state of Georgia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support.
