Emergency Department Patient Flow Coordinator

Responsible for the overall movement of patients through the Emergency Department (ED) in a safe and efficient manner. This position coordinates all patient care activities and serves as a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure care is delivered efficiently and safely. The Patient Flow Coordinator appropriately delegates workload and exemplifies teamwork, leadership, and professionalism in the ED.

• Minimum Education
  :
  Graduate of a nursing program.
• Minimum Experience
  :
  One (1) year of Emergency Department experience as a registered nurse (RN).
• Licensure/Certification
  :
  Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License; BLS certification required.
• Additional Qualifications
  : BLS/ACLS/PALS certification required; BSN preferred;
  Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred;
  Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects.
