We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Integrated Regional Laboratories (IRL) executive team which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services. This role will support 4 Divisions which includes 80+ healthcare facilities and 3 reference labs in the state of Florida. This role will require travel within the state of Florida and office is located at the Corporate Office in Fort Lauderdale.
Job Summary:Provide leadership in the areas of laboratory clinical services, operations, compliance and expense management to the Division and Regional Laboratory Directors and individual facilities overall strategic plan to improve Laboratory Services and ensure achievement. Demonstrated the ability to interact with others, build, and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible for developing business process models to optimize and enhance operating results across the company.
Participates and ensures implementation of financial, clinical, and operational strategies for laboratory and consolidated solutions Provides financial and metric training for key laboratory stakeholders to drive optimal results. 40% travel within the state of Florida.
Qualifications:
Education/License/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration Required.
- Licensed Medical Technologist.
Experience/
Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive laboratory management experience.
- Management experience with integrated hospital based service lines highly preferred.
- Multi-site laboratory operations experience.
- Laboratory quality and regulatory compliance experience.
